GREENFIELD, Ind. — A Greenfield man was arrested on Wednesday after he solicited an undercover police officer, who he thought was a child, to have sex in September.
Anthony M Glassberg, 26, was charged with the following:
- Child Solicitation, a Level 5 Felony
- Child Solicitation, a Level 4 Felony
According to court documents, Glassberg was messaging an undercover cop, who was posing as a 14-year-old girl. The officer repeatedly indicated that they were underage, but Glassberg still offered the girl $150 for sex.
On Oct. 4, Glassberg told his family that he was going to get food when he was actually going to the meetup location at US 40 in Hancock County. He told the child not to wear too much fragrance because his wife would smell it.
Upon his arrival to US 40, the "child" waved at him and he waved back. Soon after he was arrested by on-site law enforcement for child solicitation.
Glassberg was transported to the Hancock County Jail.
