INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Transportation announced plans for lane and ramp closures coming to I-465 southbound near Lawrence on Friday.
According to INDOT, I-465 southbound between the Shadeland CD to 38th Street will be reduced to two lanes from Saturday at 6 a.m. to Sunday at 6 p.m. The ramps at 56th Street and Shadeland CD to I-465 southbound, and Pendleton Pike to I-465 southbound, will be closed.
The image below shows that the U.S. 36 to I-465 southbound ramp will be reduced to just one lane.
INDOT said that these closures will allow pavement to be restored, joint repairs to be completed and bridge decks to be patched.
All of this work is weather-dependent with schedules subject to change. INDOT also urged drivers to exercise caution and drive safely through work zones.
