BARGERSVILLE, Ind. — The Bargersville Police Department has arrested two people on Thursday who reportedly stole from a CVS Pharmacy, as well as multiple other Johnson County locations.

According to a Facebook post from Bargersville PD, officers were notified of a theft at the CVS on SR 135 and Whiteland Road. Police said the suspects fled the scene in a white van before officers arrived, which police were able to locate quickly.

The vehicle was found near Smokey Row Road, Bargersville PD said. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop when the vehicle drove away, heading east. The driver then lost control and crashed the vehicle near Proctor Park. Per Bargersville PD, two suspects then fled on foot.

Police set up a perimeter in the area, which included the assistance of drone operators, K-9 units and all of BPD's agencies. This led the suspects to quickly be located and apprehended, BPD said.

Bargersville PD also added that the suspects were the same ones who had been involved in other Johnson County thefts within the past several days. The suspects were from outside of the U.S. and may be part of an organized theft operation, BPD wrote.

Police did not list the names of the suspects nor provide mugshots. FOX59/CBS4 will provide updates once more information is made available.
