INDIANAPOLIS – A man was injured in a drive-by shooting on the north side early Friday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the man was walking out of a music studio in the 5100 block of Brouse Avenue when someone shot him just outside the building.
The man was taken to Eskenazi Hospital, according to officers at the scene. It happened around 1:50 a.m.
IMPD characterized the incident as a drive-by shooting, although they didn’t have a description of the suspect or vehicle.
Police were checking with nearby businesses to see if any cameras may have caught the shooting. The incident remains under investigation.
