INDIANAPOLIS -- A child pornography case involving a Whitestown man who was initially charged in Boone County has been moved to Indianapolis federal court.

According to court documents filed earlier this year in the Indianapolis division of the United States District Court of the Southern District of Indiana, Kyle Rogers faces five counts of distribution and receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.

This comes after Rogers was initially charged in Boone County after officials alleged that more than 400 files of reported child pornography were shared from Rogers' IP address. At the time, Rogers reportedly admitted to being sexually attracted to children and using platforms to view child pornography.

The federal indictment alleges that Rogers distributed multiple files of child pornography through his laptop, including images and videos of reported child pornography. This includes compilations of girls whose ages ranged from 3 to 11 undressing and performing various sexual acts.

The indictment also alleges that Rogers possessed multiple photos and videos of child pornography as well, according to the court documents.

If Rogers is convicted of any of the charges, he will be required to forfeit multiple cell phones, electronic storage devices, hard drives, laptops and other electronic devices.

According to court documents, Rogers' final pretrial conference is scheduled for Nov. 21 and his jury trial is scheduled for Dec. 9.
