INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after one person was shot on the city’s northeast side.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said officers were dispatched to the 6800 block of Pendleton Pike around 12:30 p.m. on a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers did not find a person shot at the location.
A short time later officers were dispatched to an area hospital on a report of a walk-in person shot. Upon arrival to the hospital, officers found an adult male victim with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
The victim was reported to be in critical condition.
