INDIANAPOLIS — Indy police arrested three people last weekend in a guns and drug bust at the home of a "known felon" on the city's near west side.

Joshua Canales-Martinez, 27, Katherine Maldonado, 24, and Marion Gutierrez, 31, were all arrested last Sunday afternoon while detectives with IMPD's Violent Crimes Task Force investigated a known felon they believed was dealing narcotics.

Detectives reportedly saw a car leaving the 1000 block of N. Holmes Avenue on the city's near west side and conducted a traffic stop on the car. The driver, later identified as Canales-Martinez, was detained and officers reportedly found a gun and meth inside the car.

Crews then reportedly went inside the home on N. Holmes and served a warrant. Inside, they allegedly found 14 different people. While speaking with the individuals found in the house, IMPD said they arrested Maldonado and Gutierrez.

Detectives reportedly found a total of five loaded guns, marijuana, meth, cocaine, large amounts of cash and other paraphernalia used to sell drugs inside the house. Pictures of the evidence seized, provided by IMPD, can be seen below:

Canales-Martinez was arrested and charged with dealing meth and marijuana, possessing cocaine and unlawful gun possession. A jury trial in his case is scheduled to begin on Oct. 21. Court records show he has previously been arrested in Marion County for driving without a license, domestic battery and intimidation.

Maldonado was arrested and charged with dealing marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Her jury trial is scheduled to begin on Oct. 21. Court records show she has previously been arrested in Marion County for narcotics possession, resisting law enforcement, auto theft, unlawful gun possession and more.

Gutierrez was charged with dealing and marijuana and possession of a firearm. His jury trial is also scheduled to begin Oct. 21. Online court records show Gutierrez has a list of various traffic violations in Marion County including driving without a license and speeding in a school zone.

No other information was provided by IMPD. The Marion County Prosecutor's Office will now handle final charging decisions.
