INDIANAPOLIS -- The City of Indianapolis has unveiled a new website for city-county employees to report harassment.
According to city officials, Indianapolis created a new anonymous website for employees to report harassment. The website went live on Wednesday.
Officials said the website is for Indianapolis city-county employees only and is for "reporting of harassment of any kind."
This comes after Thomas Cook, a former aide to Mayor Joe Hogsett, was accused of sexual harassment by Caroline Ellert, a former city employee, and Lauren Roberts, a prior member of Hogsett's campaign.
Following the accusations, Hogsett signed an order requiring all city-county employees to participate in an annual harassment training program.
The Indianapolis City-County Council also heard two proposals and a related amendment as a response to the scandal. According to previous reports, the proposals would authorize a committee to review the city's procedures associated with sexual harassment claims, as well as form a committee to investigate the allegations surrounding Cook's conduct.
