INDIANAPOLIS - Police are investigating after a woman and juvenile were injured in a domestic shooting on Indy's east side Saturday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just after midnight, officers were called to the 6100 block of East 21st Street on the report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they located an adult female and juvenile female with gunshot wounds. The adult female was transported to an area hospital in stable condition, while the juvenile female was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
Investigators stated the juvenile female was upgraded to stable condition.
Officers believe the shooting stemmed from a domestic disturbance between the adult female and a known party, who did not live at the residence.
