GREENWOOD, Ind. — Police are investigating after two people were injured in a shooting in Greenwood Friday night.
According to the Greenwood Police Department, officers responded just before 10:30 p.m. to the 2000 block of Prairie Sky Lane on the report of a person shot.

When officers arrived, they located a male and female with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. They were transported to an area hospital for treatment, but investigators did not list their conditions.
A Greenwood Police Department spokesperson confirmed 36-year-old Marcus Dewayne Mundy was arrested after the shooting. He has been preliminarily charged with attempted murder, battery committed with a deadly weapon and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.
Mundy was booked into the Johnson County Jail just before 4 a.m. Saturday. Jail records indicate Mundy is currently being held without bond.
