This morning brings the last of the 50° mornings in downtown for awhile. We have enjoyed another incredibly cool stretch for August but the pattern begins to transition today and into the weekend. Sunrise is at 7:05 a.m. and should be another gorgeous start!
This afternoon will bring more sunshine and dry conditions, as temperatures warm back into the lower 80s by early evening. Winds today should remain light from the southeast at 5-10 mph. Quiet overall but back to seasonal levels.
This evening looks great, as high school football kicks off for the season and for anything outdoors. Keep in mind, not as cool in the overnight, as dew points inch upward with a few added clouds around.
This weekend brings more sunshine and more heat for both days with temperatures teetering near the 90° mark on Sunday afternoon. A weak chance for a shower will be around on Sunday with some added cloud cover before more intense heat arrives on Monday and Tuesday.
