LAWRENCE, Ind. — Three people were killed during a shooting in Lawrence Sunday night.
According to Lawrence Police Department, officers received numerous 911 calls that indicated multiple people had been shot near the intersection of 42nd Street and Post Road.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located three males who had been shot. Two of the males were pronounced dead at the scene, and the third was taken to Eskenazi Hospital before he ultimately died.

On Monday, officials with the Marion County Coroner's Office identified one of the people who died. as 38-year-old Daniel Alberto Morales Uribe. The identities of the two others who died in this incident are pending identification until next of kin is notified.
Witnesses told officers that a vehicle fled southbound on Post Road after the shooting. The car crashed at the intersection of 38th Street and Post Road.
Witnesses told police they saw multiple males flee the vehicle on foot. LPD indicated that, as of 12:20 a.m. Monday, they did not have any suspects in custody. Police have not yet identified any persons of interest either.
Police identified several shell casings on the ground at the scene, but they did not find any firearms in the area. LPD is working to acquire search warrants for multiple cars, including two vehicles that are believed to have belonged to the victims.
