INDIANAPOLIS — Short-term lane restrictions and ramp closures on part of Interstate 465 in western Marion County will begin on Friday.
According to a press release from the Indiana Department of Transportation, crews will restrict the right two lanes of I-465 northbound between Minnesota Street and Interstate 74. The following ramps will also be closed during construction:
- I-465 northbound to U.S. 136 ramp
- U.S. 40 to I-465 northbound ramp
- I-465 northbound to U.S. 36 ramp
- U.S. 36 to I-465 northbound ramp
- I-465 northbound to 10th Street ramp
- 10th Street to I-465 northbound ramp
The restrictions and closures will allow crews to complete pavement restoration, bridge deck patching and joint repairs. Officials expect the project to be wrapped up by 6 a.m. Wednesday, barring any adverse weather.
