COLUMBUS, Ind. -- Officials with the Columbus Police Department are investigating a shooting that reportedly occurred Monday evening.
According to a news release from the department, officers were called to a shots fired incident around 9:39 p.m. on Monday in the 1900 block of Wallace Avenue in Columbus.
Officials said an initial investigation found that a person reportedly shot a firearm from a dark colored sedan. The release said that no one was injured during the shooting. However, officials said that a home and a vehicle were struck with bullets.
The release said that the investigation is still ongoing, but officials believe that it was an isolated incident.
