HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. -- A Greenfield man was sentenced after he pleaded guilty to multiple child sex-related charges.
According to a news release from the Hancock County Prosecutor's Office, 20-year-old Brandon Daniels was sentenced to five years in the Indiana Department of Correction after he pleaded guilty to charges of sexual misconduct with a minor and possession of child pornography.
The release said that Daniels had sexual contact with a 15-year-old and created images from it in July 2023.
“Daniels was 19 years old at the time of this crime,” Hancock County Prosecutor Brent Eaton said in the release. “He was an adult who chose to take advantage of a vulnerable young teenager. Those who choose to violate the law and abuse children will be held accountable for their actions.”
