A misty start this morning, as clouds hover and temperatures have cooled across the state! Expect dew points to remain in the middle 60° range, marking a somewhat sticky start. As the pattern stabilizes by late morning, mist will subside from north to south.
This afternoon, clouds will continue to thin, as sunshine becomes more available statewide. This will bring a return to brighter conditions and more comfortable air. Expect afternoon highs to reach the lower 80s, with breezy, northeasterly winds at 10-15 mph. Enjoy!
Dry weather will hold through the weekend, as less humid air will drive our dew points down even more for Saturday and Sunday. This will mark some really refreshing air in the overnights and milder afternoons. For August, in Indiana, this is certainly the good stuff to enjoy outdoors!
