ROCKVILLE, Ind. -- A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested Tuesday morning after a reported months long investigation into the distribution of child pornography, according to a social media post from the Rockville Police Department.
At around 7:58 a.m. on Tuesday, officers with the Rockville Police Department, along with the Clay County Sheriff's Office, the Indiana State Police and other members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, searched a home near Beechwood Park in Rockville.
This comes after a search and arrest warrant was issued for the home following a months-long investigation into the alleged distribution of child pornography.
The post read that a number of individuals were located inside the home but were later removed for the "safety of all parties involved." A suspect, identified in the post as a 17-year-old, was located at a nearby gas station.
Officials said that all the individuals in the home were questioned on scene but were later released after the on-scene investigation. The suspect was later transported to the Parke County Jail
