INDIANAPOLIS -- A musician who recently performed in Central Indiana is asking the public for help after her guitar was reportedly stolen outside a downtown Indianapolis hotel.
Lisa Loeb, an Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, took to social media early Wednesday morning, stating that her guitar was stolen outside the Conrad Hotel in downtown Indianapolis on Tuesday afternoon.

According to a report with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the theft was reported at around 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday after it was stolen around 2 p.m. that afternoon. The acoustic guitar is valued around $4,000.
Loeb performed on Monday evening at Hendricks Live, a performance venue in Plainfield. Loeb, who is also a radio host and actor, was the first pop musician to have a No. 1 single when she was not signed to a recording contract.

According to her post on her X account, the social media site formerly known as Twitter, Loeb described the guitar as a Taylor 512-C (No. 9765) with gold tuners. The guitar is in a pink and red soft case.
