We have been tracking rain showers throughout central Indiana this morning. The showers are light and spotty in nature, which will be case throughout the day. You can still expect plenty of dry time in between the widely scattered showers and storms. Skies will be partly sunny between the waves of activity with highs in the lower 80s.
Rain chances will dwindle this evening and overnight. Skies will turn partly cloudy as lows drop into the mid-60s. We’ll start Tuesday on a dry note. However, there is a chance for pop-up showers and storms tomorrow afternoon. Because there will be more dry hours, temperatures will rise a degree or two more on Tuesday with highs in the mid-80s.
Rain and storm chances climb on Wednesday as a storm system slides across the Great Lakes. A lingering shower is possible early Thursday, but the area should begin to dry out that afternoon and evening. We’ll wrap up the workweek with sunshine and highs in the mid-80s.
