INDIANAPOLIS — A person was injured during a shooting on the near northwest side of Indianapolis Saturday night.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Udell Street around 10:45 p.m. on a report of a person shot. When police arrived at the scene, they located an adult male with an injury consistent with a gunshot wound.
The man was transported from the scene to Eskenazi Hospital. Per IMPD, the victim is currently in stable condition.
The victim involved in the shooting offered little information about what happened during the incident, according to IMPD. Based on what the man told them, investigators believe the shooting stemmed from a disturbance that happened just west of the liquor store officers found the victim near.
