INDIANAPOLIS — A person was found dead at a gas station on the northwest side of Indianapolis Saturday night.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the intersection of North High School Road and West 38th Street around 9 p.m. on a report of a person down. When police arrived at the scene, they located a person with injuries consistent with trauma.

IMPD reported that the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are still trying to determine exactly what led to the victim's death.
Law enforcement identified the victim as a male, though they do not know his age.
IMPD indicated that a person was spotted running away from the scene. Police aren't sure if that person was a suspect, victim or witness.
