INDIANAPOLIS — Court documents reveal that a shooting suspect was allegedly caught on camera dancing and skipping around his victim's body moments after shooting a 21-year-old point-blank in the head.

Kyis L. Glaspar, 19, is charged with two counts of murder relating to the execution-style shooting of Kiyon Davidson. He also faces one count of robbery resulting in serious bodily injury, a Level 2 felony.

Recently unsealed court documents accuse Glaspar of being the triggerman in a deadly shooting and robbery that occurred on June 8 at Maple Creek Village Apartments. Glaspar ended up fleeing the city but was tracked down by U.S. Marshals and IMPD's violent crimes unit and taken into custody in Gary.

Another 19-year-old was named as a co-defendant in this case in court documents and is accused of being with Glaspar at the time of the shooting. In surveillance footage, this co-defendant can reportedly be seen stealing items off Davidson's body (including a gun) before fleeing the scene with Glaspar.

No charges have been filed against the co-defendant at this time.

The scene of the fatal shooting at Maple Creek Village Apartments

According to court documents, multiple witnesses place Glaspar and the co-defendant at the apartment complex on the night of the shooting. A witness even reported seeing Glaspar and the co-defendant wearing ski masks. This same witness told police that they believed the pair would flee to Chicago.

A post made on Instagram by Glaspar after the deadly shooting seemed to eluded to Davidson's robbery and murder with Glaspar allegedly posting: "Kd had dat bag till dem (blast emoji) blew da cash out (laughing emoji)."

Police said "KD" was a nickname for Davidson.

Police ended up viewing surveillance footage which reportedly showed the shooting. In the footage, a man matching Glaspar's description walks behind Davidson and fires a point-blank shot into the back of the victim's head.

Glaspar then allegedly is seen "dancing around the body immediately after the victim dropped to the ground" along with "skipping away through the parking lot."

"He's a very dumb criminal," an informant told police, sharing how Glaspar has been claiming "nonstop" about killing Davidson.

Glaspar even reportedly posted a photograph of police arriving at the crime scene on the night of the shooting, captioning it with laughing face emojis and a dancing man emoji, court documents detail.

Court documents reveal that Glaspar's phone last pinged in Merrillville in Lake County before being turned off.

On June 13, IMPD violent crime units along with U.S. Marshals and Gary SWAT teams took Glaspar into custody in Gary. Police haven't clarified if the co-defendant was also taken into custody.

A booking photo for Kyis L. Glaspar has not been released by authorities.
