INDIANAPOLIS — A person was shot on the north side of Indianapolis near Broad Ripple on Saturday.
Per the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 600 block of East 62nd Street on a report of a person shot. When police arrived at the scene, they located a victim with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
IMPD reported that the victim is in stable condition. Public police reporting systems indicate officers were first called to the area around 2:52 p.m.
