INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana University Indianapolis Police Department confirmed on Tuesday that a male attending an on-campus summer program raped a female camper.
Those who participate in the program stay at IU Indianapolis residence halls throughout the summer.
On July 2, IUPD received a report of a rape. According to an IUPD crime report, a male camper participating in the program raped a female camper on Saturday in one of their dorm rooms. IUPD is currently working with the camp's administration on the investigation.
