INDIANAPOLIS -- An east side family is begging for justice after Ambra Alcozer died in a hit-and-run incident one month ago.
"The house is different. Her house is different. Everybody's lives are different. Already in a month," said Shawn Alcozer, Ambra's mother.
So much has changed but 31-year-old Ambra Alcozer's family said the grief has stayed the same as another month has passed by without any arrests or answers.

"A lot of grieving, a lot of anger," said Jose Hernandez, Ambra's stepfather. "It's just trying to move on and trying to find answers. Whoever knows something, say something. We need to bring this guy to justice. I’m very frustrated because we don’t have any answers."
It all happened around 10 p.m. on May 27 when a family cookout turned into a tragedy near 16th and Fenton Avenue on Indy's east side.
Ambra and her boyfriend were riding in a go-kart in the grass when an SUV hit them. The driver of the SUV took off and still hasn't been found.
Ambra's boyfriend survived while Ambra died on the scene.
"It's very frustrating because I mean, you know, it's a month," said Shawn Alcozer. "Why haven't you [the police] guys figured stuff out yet? Why has no one been charged with this? It's a hit-and-run. So, you know someone did it. Someone intentionally took my daughter's life."
Ambra leaves behind a 6-year-old daughter, friends and family.
A vigil was held last month as community and family members gathered to remember Ambra's life.
Now, Ambra's family is asking anyone with information to come forward so they can get the closure they desperately need.
I'm not giving up. I will not," said Shawn Alcozer. "They will remember this face until somebody gets charged with her death."
FOX59/CBS4 reached out to IMPD about Ambra's case Wednesday and the department stated it has no updates as the investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
